Ping Jiang, AIA

Founding Principal

Ping Jiang is the Design Principal of EID Architecture, leading the practice with a depth of knowledge in design and delivery of challenging architectural projects. He has worked extensively in United States, Europe and Asia. His breadth of experience ensures success in meeting the client's needs for design and scope as well as bringing value through design to all projects. His award wining work includes large scale mixed-use developments, corporate headquarter/office, hotel, cultural/civic, institutional, retail and residential uses. His expertise on large scale urban development and tall building has contributed to some high profile projects around the globe, including some of the world's tallest buildings. Prior to EID Architecture, He was a principal at MAD from 2009 to 2011. He had been design leader for a number of international practices in United States prior to his return to China. He was a studio head/lead designer with SOM's Chicago office.

 

Jiang has been awarded numerous international awards during the past 10 years, including design awards by AIA Chicago, AIA Dallas, AIA Hong Kong, The Plan Award, World Architecture Festival (WAF) Awards (Shortlisted), The Architecture Review (Shortlisted), The Chicago Athenaeum International Architecture Awards (Shortlisted), LEAF Awards (Shortlisted), MIPIM International Awards, MIPIM Asia Awards, APPA, IPA, etc. He has been invited to participate in the international design forum, other academic activities and art exhibitions.

Michael Morgan, RIBA

Design Director

Mike Morgan is a British architect with extensive project experience in the United Kingdom, Australia, China and Hong Kong. He has over 20 years working experience, predominantly in Asia where he has been involved on a multitude of projects, many of which are high profile award winning projects, large scale and complex in their requirements. He has particular expertise in the design of mixed-use developments, office towers, civic buildings, institutional facilities, retail developments, cultural projects and landscape architecture and is familiar with all stages of the design process from initial briefing sessions through to on site construction. Prior to joining EID Architecture, Michael has worked as Associate Design Director / Senior Design Architect for a few international architectural practice including Foster and Partners in London. He has been involved in the design of numerous high profile award winning projects in Asia and Europe, many of which have been published extensively in architectural publications and exhibited internationally.
